Today I want to write to you about the three small philosophy books that I have written: "The Joy Reminder," "Inside the Honey Walls," and "An Elegant Echo". These books will change your mind and give you ways to alter your mindset from negative to positive in calm, kind, and easy steps.

The first book in this series is "The Joy Reminder". It is an amusing book and includes stories that will assist you with your motivation, giving you personal anecdotes, stories and parables to remind you of timeless lessons that can point you to a positive mindset. The way that this book helps you is through a technique called Automatic Writing. I found this technique in the Bible in the book of John, chapter 8, verses 1-11. You may want to check this story out for yourself. It addresses the process Jesus used to connect with his own subconscious to solve a problem. This is what I remind  you to do, through His teaching.

An example of what I mean is Chapter 17 of this book. "Queezy Rider". it is a story about a man whom I remember fondly because he made such a positive inpact on my life and the lives of my children at a time when we were having 'valley experiences' more often than not. The end of this chapter has a few touching moments that we experienced every year when he came to spend a short time with us and then leave us. He was a remarkable man.

"The Joy Reminder" takes you easily to a place in your mind that will guide you on your journey of joy and allow you to write the guidance you receive. You will find this small book useful as well as an enjoyable read. The price is $12.95.

The second Book in the series is "Inside the Honey Walls." The subtitle is 'Using the mind tool of Meditation,' which will instantly tell you that the subject of the book is how to meditate.

I have been asked what I think the difference is between Meditation and Prayer. When you check the thesaurus, you will find that Meditation and prayer are cross-referenced, but I believe that there is a fundamental difference between the two.

Prayer is love, joy, thanksgiving, devotion, pleading for mercy, forgiveness, and much more. It can be practiced any time, any place. You can pray as your car heads toward a pole or when you've made a error of judgement by attending a party you had no business going to. Not much quiteness or calmness there, but the Prayer is still effective.

Meditation is the pondering of the meanings of all those things. It is a much deeper state of mind than Prayer. Most often Meditation takes longer because your mind has to be made quiet and still before you begin. Both Prayer and Meditation involve our Higher Power.

The example that I want you to work with, is chapter 2 of this book, 'Park your carcass park.' The story is about a family's dream gone awry, and how that situation affected the separate souls of that family.

In this chapter, the reader will learn to meditate in a prone position. I learned this position some years ago when I had a back injury. It was difficult to sit, stand or walk while meditating and when I had tried to do that, I would usually have to terminate the meditation before I wished to. The only perceived down-side to the prone position was that I would sometimes fall asleep. But I found that it didn't matter. After I fell asleep in this position, the meditation went on in my subconscious mind until the natural end of it.

In "Inside the Honey Walls" I wrote detailed instructions for you to meditate in four different positions: Sitting, standing, walking, and lying. (Don't let the spelling of 'lying' put you off). Lying meant 'prone' to the teacher I was studing with.

Meditation is a more involved, more interesting way to access your subconscious mind than Automatic Writing, but with practice you will become proficient in this discipline. This book is available for the price of $12.95.

The final book in this series is "An Elegant Echo," The subtitle to it is: ' Answering your negative thought patterns with positive affirmations'.

The subject of how to change your mind through Affirmation is extremely important. Affirmation is the most difficult discipline of the three: Automatic Writing, Meditation, Afffirmation.

The reason for this complexity is that you must first identify the disconnect between your subconscious mind and your conscious mind. Secondly, you must choose a positive affirmation to overlay the negative thought lodged in your subconscious mind. Thirdly you must  practice, practice, practice that affirmation.

But you will be so pleased with the result that you will easily forget the time and energy it took to get to that positive place in your mind, your bliss. The story that I have chosen to best illustrate the disconnect mentioned above, is Chapter 4,'The wide-open mind.'

Annie is a woman who came in and out of my life at the most unexpected times. She finally come to me in her late 30's terribly confused and unhappy. She left some time later a woman who had reconciled with her children and had the friendship of two of her five husbands. In her 50's she passed from this life suddenly and with a lot of fanfare which was usual for her, but she had become a happy woman. I feel that our time together with the study of Affirmation was partly responsible for her getting back on the path toward her Source. Annie is remembered fondly by so many of her friends and her family as having lived well in her final years.

You can purchase "An Elegant Echo" for the price of $10.95.

Taking charge of your mind and changing it to the positive entity that it can be is a rewarding undertaking. I will have your back as you embark on this part of your path toward the Source of all being. I firmly believe that reading these three little books and sharing them with others will be as much of a blessing to you as they were to me as I wrote them down.
