Paintings
I have been focusing on portrait painting for the last six months. This was something that I said I would never do but with the commissioned painting of "Jordan", all the old inhabitions fell away and I enjoyed the process of painting this tiny tot so much that I have been doing portraits of chidren ever since. It is still amazing to me that personality trumps reality every time. What a great little child she is and I received limited permission to do more
paintings of her in the future.
Looking forward, the next set of paintings that I will upload for you will be my paintings of horses. Some of them will be quite abstract, but one of them is a painting, more realistically done of the horses of Iceland. The other two paintings will be the horses of Assateage. We irreverently call these my "horse's butts" paintings. I must say that these abstract paintings definately lean toward the depiction of the musculature of that part of a horses anatomy.**I have, however, uploaded below, a variety of paintings for you to look at.
